2017 Azalea Sweep
It’s that time of year again when pink blooms can be seen from every street corner, tucked neatly under window sills adding charm to our southern city. The North Carolina Azalea Festival hosted by Wilmington each year brings attention to beautiful gardens and encourages civil service.
Come volunteer with us at the Azalea Sweep Saturday, April 1st, 2017. Meet at Cape Fear Community College downtown campus on Front Street between Brunswick and Hanover Streets. Bags, gloves, and pickers will be provided! After you “sweep” your assigned area join us for a volunteer appreciation lunch at The Husk, 12 noon.
